Donating to your local library is a great way to support your community. We offer free access to books, programs, technology, and more—helping people of all ages learn, connect, and grow. Your donation helps keep these services going strong, from adding new books to hosting events and keeping the space welcoming for everyone. Giving to the Buckland Public Library helps make sure it stays open, useful, and free for all.

Donate Books
Buckland Public Library accepts donations of new and almost-new books, books on CD, and DVDs in excellent condition to be considered for addition to the collection or for sale. For more details on what we accept, how donations are used, and what we do with media we can’t use, see our Collections policy.
Before dropping off books, you must contact the director to discuss what you are planning to donate and where you should leave it.
Leaving books in the library space without doing so is dumping, and it takes up our time and energy to dispose of things we can’t use.
Roundabout Books in Greenfield accepts books in all conditions for resale and recycling.
Donate Office or Craft Supplies
Donations of office supplies and craft supplies help keep our costs for programs and operations low, allowing us to do more with less. If you’re interested in donating specific items, please contact the director. Some frequently used supplies that are always appreciated are:
- White copier paper
- Black Sharpie markers
- Standard mailing envelopes
- Standard staples
- Scotch tape
- Glue sticks
- Construction paper
