Can’t find what you’re looking for in CWMARS? Try the Commonwealth Catalog (ComCat) to borrow materials from libraries across Massachusetts. This statewide system expands your access to millions of items, delivered to your home library for easy pickup. Use your Buckland Library card information to log in. 

Boston Public Library eCard

Massachusetts residents can sign up online for a free Boston Public Library eCard, which gives you instant access to BPL’s vast collection of FREE digital resources, such as:

  • Newspaper subscriptions to the Boston Globe, New York Times, and more
  • Streaming platforms Kanopy and Hoopla for documentaries, movies, and TV
  • Language learning through Mango Languages
  • Arts and crafts classes through CreativeBug
  • Ancestry Library Edition
  • Job and career resources
  • Education and E-reading resources for K-12 students

Research Databases 

Through the Massachusetts Library System, member libraries have free access to a wide range of high-quality research databases. These include trusted sources for academic journals, news articles, health and legal information, genealogy, business resources, and more. Britannica and Pebble Go encyclopedia resources are also available at a variety of reading levels for children, and many resources are also available in Spanish.
